Angela Evelyn Bassett is an American actor from the United States. In the TV and film industry, she is known for her nominations and awards. Bassett comes originally from New York New York. She was raised at Winston-Salem North Carolina. Bassett was able to move with her younger older sister St. Petersburg Florida at the age of five to be near their mother and father, who had separated from her father. Bassett saw James Earl Jones in John Steinbeck's Of Mice and Men play as she was still at high school and decided that she was an actor and wanted to do. Following her graduation from Yale University New Haven Connecticut in the year 1980, she earned an undergraduate degree in African American Studies, she went on to earn an MA (1983) at the Yale School of Drama. In 1997, she was married Courtney B. Vance who was an actor in the same group. Qualification: B.A. Degree in African-American Studies in 1980. Master of Fine Arts degree from the Yale School of Drama School: Jordan Park Elementary School Disston Middle School (seventh grade) Azalea Middle School (eighth and ninth grade) Boca Ciega High School. Angela Bassett, who plays Ramonda the lead female character in the adventure action film I. Black Panther: Wakanda Forever (2022).
